The Barnacle Boys isn’t a corporate cleaning company. It’s two brothers from Big Pine Key who got tired of watching boat lifts fail because nobody was maintaining them properly.

We’ve been maintaining our own boat lifts since 2015. We know firsthand what happens when barnacle and algae growth goes unchecked — your lift strains, your lift wheels get stuck, your cables build up slack, and eventually your boat is stuck on a lift that won’t come down. We’ve seen it happen to our neighbors. We’ve fixed it for them too.

That’s why we started The Barnacle Boys in 2024. Not because we saw a business opportunity. Because we understood the problem better than anyone else in the Keys and knew we could solve it right.

When we show up to your dock, we treat your lift like it’s ours. We don’t cut corners, we don’t rush the job, and we don’t leave until it’s done right. Every lift gets a free visual electrolysis inspection and we will always be 100% honest because we actually care whether your equipment lasts.
